close-up at the Roundhouse you can see how clean looking the NP Mikes are kept. This baby,
a W3 Class #1815 has seen years of faithful service, but the
steam era is ending. Only the cheap coal prices, and tender loving care from her
crew are keeping
this unit in service.
1815 had a stroke of bad
luck, when a water chute came down too fast and busted the tender backup light
bracket. But all is well now that the shop foreman welded it back on.
