I started by cleaning up the mold flash on the cars I am going to duplicate with an exacto knife and a jewelers file. Then I sanded the bottoms of the cars on a flat surface.

When the "Masters" were looking good, I spray painted on a thin coat of Testors Gloss Cote, to smooth out any rough details and fill any small bubble holes from when they were made.

After the Gloss Cote had dried a day I used Elmer's to glue the cars to a piece of styrene. Use only enough glue so there is no air pockets under the cars.
