Z Scale NYC 19000 Series Cabooses

I was asked to build 3 Z Scale NYC Cabooses, but they needed updating because that was the first kit I ever done in any scale. I had made a much more accurate model in N Scale last winter, so here is the first attempt at a shrink:

In the background is my scratch built water tower. Notice how the 50' cigar band boxcar dwarfs this caboose? The low cupola was to accommodate the low bridges on the eastern part of the line.

I had to make custom decals for this model. This is a dual truss rod version where the 2 center trusses have been replaced with a steel center sill, and K brakes replaced with AB brakes.

A true lowrider, the low cupola is so cool!
