I assembled the pump
island next. It was the hardest part of the model to keep straight, but would
have been easy if I used CA glue. The secret was in soldering one column to both
the island base then the awning and getting that straight first. The next column
was just a matter of tacking it in place.
To leave the doors to
the office and back room ajar, I soldered just one side of the doors (having cut
the top and door knob side glue tabs off first), then bent them open.
