Each time I cut a part off the sprue, I sanded the sprue tabs off with the motor tool, and checked that it was flat, straightening it as requited with the long nose pliers.

As construction progressed, I put the roof on and spot soldered it at a few places to hold it on. I decided to leave a rollup door open because it implies activity. Next I assembled the tower and the chimney.
